FAQ

Frequently asked questions

JavClaw is a local-first desktop organizer. You can start with a 7-day free trial first, then decide whether to keep the lifetime version before the automatic charge happens.

Does JavClaw upload my media files?

No. JavClaw is local-first. Your files and folder structure stay on your machine. Cloud calls are limited to normalized metadata lookup and do not ingest filenames or local paths.

How do purchase and activation work?

You can start with the 7-day trial by adding your card on the trial page. We issue a 7-day activation code first, then charge $9.99 automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel. If you prefer, you can still skip the trial and purchase directly on the pay page.

Which payment methods and device limits are supported?

The trial flow currently starts with a card. The direct purchase flow supports Cards, Link, and Alipay. Each lifetime activation code supports up to 10 devices.

How do I cancel during the trial?

Once the trial has started, open the trial result page and use the cancel auto-charge button. Cancelling stops the future charge but keeps the trial available until its scheduled end.

Will I be charged automatically after 7 days?

Yes. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the payment method on file is charged once for $9.99 and the order converts into the lifetime version.

Can I keep using it after I cancel?

Yes. Cancelling only stops the future automatic charge. Your current trial remains active until it expires, and you can pay later if you want to continue.

Is JavClaw a streaming or cloud locker service?

No. JavClaw is a desktop organizer. It does not host videos, stream media, or sync libraries to a shared cloud destination.
